The Potting Machine applies a potting compound to three different product housings. In addition to the varying sizes of the housings, the type of potting compound also differs depending on the product configurations. By scanning a barcode on the product tray, the corresponding potting program is automatically selected. A vision systems checks whether a product is present in each tray position and whether it matches the barcode information. After verification, the potting program starts, and each product is potted using an XYZ manipulator with a nozzle.

Once the trays are manually placed in the magazine, the Potting Machine can run fully automatically and without interruption, even when the system detects an error. Thanks to the closed process and multiple checks, time is saved and the risk of errors is significantly reduced. In addition, the process is carried out consistently and precisely, resulting in improved product quality.
