As part of a larger assembly and testing line, Romédes has combined a screwdriving unit and a leak testing station into a single machine. The machine is capable of fully automatic, simultaneous installation of eight nuts on boilers of various sizes, followed by a leak tightness test.

By performing precise checks at multiple stages of the process, the quality of the product is assured. In addition, the automation has significantly increased productivity by freeing up personnel for other tasks and reducing overall production time. As a bonus, combining two processes in a single machine has resulted in a substantial saving of floor space.
